Is this still working for you?
I had the update just before this one, and just like you, I am seeing this issue now.
Following your advice, I:
Wiped Cache
Wiped Dalvik
Ran Debug format system
Reinstalled new update, and gapps
Still, the issue persists.
The only thing I didn't do was wipe...
So, you really don't notice any diffrence in speakerphone volume from the stock sprint rom?
I've been here since day 1, and have read every page of & participated in the thread.
first off, love the rom.....secondly, a question, nothing major: anyone else notice that the speakerphone audio isn't as loud and clear as with the stock rom? i've tried using LVH, and it doesn't seem to make a difference
anybody experiencing a significant reduction in battery life?
any tips on how to conserve a bit?
Other than the speakerphone volume being lower than stock, and having to occasionally re-install Swype, i love this ROM..
anybody had\fixed any of the above issues?
I haven't; I will try this later today when i get home....i had tried to compare them though, and at surface level, I thought i might like Xionia more....
I really don't know the difference to be honest...
Which one is better for Cyanogen, anyone?
yessir, i did, and i know i have SU enabled, because I saw the multiple prompts for SU to allow the change right before it reboots.
Also, as a side test, i run minfreemanager, and mybackup pro both of which require root access to function.
They both work great, and when use them for the first...
So, I:
1. Had USB Debug enabled
2. Ran the tool, and unrooted my manual root I had done after the LG Updater tool update, and rerooted using the tool
3. went through the process for installing the Xionia custom recovery, reaching the "successful" message
The phone reboots, but I still don't see...
Please don't blast me, but I need the clear, step by step instructions on doing exactly this......I checked the other thread, but it seems to involve using the Android SDK, etc.....
Im lost, please show me the way
