I, too, just jumped on the black friday deal. I'm thinking that when the new note comes out next summer, the trade in value should be about the same, if not more, than what I am paying. Especially factoring in the free buds.

I was on the fence, too. But, there just isn't enough reason to upgrade for me. I'll wait until next August. This will be the first time I haven't preordered in several years.

Visual voicemail came preinstalled on my unlocked Note 9. I think it is an android app, rather than a Samsung one. But, it is a purple/blue icon with the voicemail symbol on it.

Well, it is an unlocked phone. I don't recall installing any app and just remember it being there. It's got a purple icon and I believe it is an android app since the icon did not change when I applied my current theme. Verizon's voicemail app icon on the Note 8 was red and white.

Actually, the default voicemail app on the Note 9 is visual voicemail!

Super easy. You can either type in your commands or speak them. I was actually surprised by how easy it was!

My Note 9 is still covered under the multi-device plan. If you don't have that, you may want to check.

I got the phone from Samsung. I guess I assumed that would still be applicable since I have the family protection plan being billed to my account. I'll have to check that out! I'll update here once I find out.
