Have You Gotten Jelly Bean 4.3? Thread

A couple guys on reddit have claimed to have received the update, and they backed it up with screenshots. Hopefully we get it soon. Sent from my Nexus 4

Has N4 quality improved or diminished with time?

Yeah, I have been using the stock charger. Interestingly enough, last night I tried using my Nexus 7's charger, and I didn't have any problems. Maybe the N4's charger doesn't supply my Nexus 4 with enough amps of power? That's the only difference between the two chargers. Sent from my Nexus 7...

Has N4 quality improved or diminished with time?

I've had a weird battery problem where the battery stops charging between 65-82% and then cycles between charging and not charging. So I plug my phone at night, but when I wake up my phone is only 65-82% charged. On the lockscreen it will say "Charging - 65%" for a second then that will go away...

4.2.2 - If you're planning on skipping this update, think again..

When I first got my Nexus 4 I purchased a cheap TPU case that does the job, but that Ringke Fusion case has me drooling. It's like having a bumper that also protects the back. Sent from my Nexus 7 using Android Central Forums

Ms Outlook alternative for nexus 7

I use Aquamail, it works great for reading emails, but I can't set up an outgoing sever for some reason. But the UI is quite nice in Aquamail, that's why I like it.

Anyone owned only Nexus Phones or had all four of them?

My first android phone was a Motorola Atrix 2. It was a relatively snappy phone at the time and it served almost all of my needs. The biggest problem was getting updates. I was on GB for many months even after ICS came out, then JB came out and I was still waiting for ICS. Motorola just kept...

    Dropping your Nexus

I've dropped mine twice, both over carpet floor. Although the second time was OVER carpet, it didn't land on carpet. Just my luck I had my longboard sitting on my floor and my n4 landed right on the edge of my longboard. I was pretty sure the back was shattered and it took me 5 minutes to build...

Change the Nexus 4 back glass to this ??

I agree completely. If you looked at the backs my nexus 4 and nexus 7 side by side (and covered up the nexus logo) you would have no idea they were sold under the same name. And the nexus 10 looks even more different. The one thing I will say is that Google at least tried to keep the front of...

    4.2.2 Update

I'm rooted and have CWM. I downloaded the .zip file and went into CWM, then pressed install zip file. I chose the 4.2.2 update zip, but it came up with an error and said "installation aborted". So then just today it said I had the OTA update available, so I downloaded it then pressed install. I...

Change the Nexus 4 back glass to this ??

I personally think the Nexus 7 looks quite nice and sophisticated, especially compared to the white plastic look of the Samsung tablets that give off a toy vibe. I think the back sort of looks and definitely feels similar to leather. I have seen multiple businessmen carrying around their Nexus...

    N4 4.2.2 update

I don't think it has been released as an OTA (over the air) update in the US yet. I would recommend just doing it manually. It's pretty easy, and that way you could learn a little about using ADB in case you want to unlock the bootloader or root your phone in the future. Sent from my Nexus 4...

JB 4.2.2 for Nexus 4 Live- Factory Image+OTA link posted

Re: Jelly bean 4.2.2 for Nexus 4 Live- link posted I just got it. It's pretty cool that it now shows the time remaining of a download in the status bar, and that you can now toggle Wi-Fi and Bluetooth by long pressing them in quick settings. But you know the one improvement they could make that...
