I did it right away. Typing on it right now. No issues. Didn't solve the Sprint signal drops but Essential said it might get better in 8.1.

For what it's worth I'm on my 3rd moto x and having the same issue. Random total signal drops on sprint. Nobody has any ideas why. I wish a moto engineer would talk to me. I've been keeping signal check pro logs of it. Posted via Android Central App

Pocketcast won't share your library with Google music though even if you have the check box checked. In Google music it sees the music but errors when you try playing it. Posted via Android Central App

OK I have an iPhone 5 and a Moto X and in comparing the two I just have a couple niggles I need resolving: The signal meter on the Moto X randomly drops to zero. Signal Check Pro indicates there is signal. Maybe the radio didn't flash properly from KitKat? I'm on Sprint. The iPhone sitting next...
