From what I've been seeing on other devices, I believe the only way we will see Netflix is when Kyocera or Sprint finally drops gingerbread. The Echo definitely needs some more developer support.

Who knows if they'll ever release source code... I've been a long time android user and amateur hacker but I was really wanting to break into developing but the Echo just doesn't have enough hype to warrant a release of source code, I suppose.

Nope. Tried every led app on the market. Free ones only of course. I emailed a couple of devs of those apps to see if they will add it to the compatibility list.

I have the same issue. I noticed a few days ago while on a white background like you said. It's not that big of a deal to me at this point but it is noticeable.

Well that's a tough one if you can't get ADB to recognize the device. It may not just be a problem with a missing launcher if ADB won't connect to it...

I've checked out the developer kit. It doesn't have a stock image. It only has the necessary drivers and an emulator for creating dual-screen apps.

I'm getting the same error code with it rooted and I removed several stock apps. I was thinking that was it but since other non-rooted users are experiencing it then it's not just the root. I really don't want to go to the sprint store for this though...

I am in the exact same boat as you! Haha. I had the Hero rooted with AOSPMod Gingerbread and the works but it was all because of the community. I've started looking into some ROM development on my own but I'm still so new to the programming game. It would take me many months to figure this out...

Okay. How exactly am I supposed to add the SDK addon to my current SDK? Or can you just help me with trying to recognize my ECHO on ADB. It worked once before but for some reason it no longer shows my device is attached. **EDIT I got it. I finally decided just to use my PC instead of Mac
