The optimization step got hung up about half way through, rebooted the phone and it finished inside of 15 seconds -- no idea what all that was about. Two days w/o it freezing up at night -- woot woot! I feel like I need one of those "workplace counters that say - X Days without an accident" haha

How long did the "optimization step" take on your phone? aka the background notification that says "android updating?" Mine is 2 hours in and taking forever. I'm only at like 50%

So this took all in all about 15 minutes to do. Must be sizeable. This is my first experience with Android. So the actual DL then applying of the update took about 10 minute or so (though I am on Company WiFi -- so your results may vary). Phone got to the home screen and the update screen...

Ditto. Just updated the system. God willing this fixes my mysterious freezing in the middle of the night -- rendering my alarm useless... New SIM card, cleared cache, restored to factory x3, safe doesn't help. Everything else on the phone works perfectly...so disappointing... With any luck...
