I would like to upgrade my iPad Air (1st Gen) to this. I'm using the note 8, with the same processor but it has 6gb of ram. As a tablet, it shouldve had the same amount of ram or more. But are you concern about the tablet having 4gb of ram, and stuttering and lagging?

This is the only reason I would upgrade my phone, the note 8 has been great and I’m planning to continue using it, but i definitely would need to upgrade if the newer phone have the new bands that tmobile acquired. But as of right now, the note 8 is great.

I have the note 8 and using it with T-Mobile in the SF bay area, my phone never shows "4g+". Most of the time it shows as "4GLTE or 4G" depends on the location. when it shows "4G (HSPA+), i would manually turn off the data, and turn it back on so it can connect with 4GLTE.

Since day one (Sept), haven't encountered any charging issues. I do Fast charge when I'm at work or on the road, but I use the older samsung wireless slow charger when I'm charging over night.

When I had the iPhone 7 plus, i use both the iPhone and the iPad Air, but since I switch to Android, I rarely use my iPad Air now. Especailly with iOS 11 being so slow and buggy, it makes me stick to my Note 8. I was thinking at one point of getting a Samsung tablet, but the Note 8 does it job.

I agreed with you. I assumed that he had the "AT&T LTE version of the S3 Gear" and when he mentioned he got the "update" I assumed he got the AT&T LTE firmware update... I have the T-Mobile version, (yes LTE version, since they only sell the carrier LTE version) and did not get any update yet.

I have the T-Mobile S3 gear, and didn't receive any update yet... i check everyday Lol.

Finally got it after I had to "check for updates" to see if there's any update. Didn't get any notification... 😒

That's with me... happened to S3, Note 5 (wanted the Apple watch, so I went back) & then the Note 7 (went back because of the debacle). But Now I have the Note 8... the iPhone 8, X nor iOS 11 impress me... I'm happy with the Note 8 for now haha.
