Thanks ill try keep my hand away from the top left. I have a screen protector but it doesnt cover the three spots on the top (camera, IR or something, and LED)

Every now and then I have to struggle with trying to get into my phone. I wake it by pressing the button, and the screen lights up and if you touch it itll show the pattern lock. But after a second or two, it automatically goes blank. You have to wrestle with it until eventually the phone stops...

I've been trying to figure this out for a while. How do you make it so gmail won't vibrate when you get a new mail but will still show the icon for new mail AND texts will still notify? Gmail has vibrate off for notification but it still does it. I can't put notification stength down to zero...
