Why would you have a phone that is old with a broken power button. Anyways if you can get the phone rooted somehow I'm pretty sure there is a xposed module (something that tweaks your phone) that makes it so that when you double tap the screen it turns on.

I was thinking when I saw this post "BlackBerry just released an android phone" and I saw that other people were already posting apps from that phone.

I prefer the way apple does it with iMessage (technically IM) how if the other person has an iPhone or iDevice it automatically sends it via internet but if not it sends it through text message. This method makes it so that the way you send messages is seamless.

At one point I was actually considering buying that device but if it has a problem like that then that is a fatal flaw in their phone. As for the problem I once had a sync problem in settings for something involving contacts and I just had to uncheck and recheck the checkbox in the settings.
