I'm on the Gear S2 Classic (non-carrier/non-3G) and I still have not received the update. Forcing the Gear Manager to check it, I'm told that I have the latest version - I don't. FWIW, I did receive the Gear Manager software update for the phone, just not the firmware update on the watch...
