Hey dbruins, I used to have the S4 and also had the problem where that phone ate my SD. I called up Sandisk and they replaced it with a new one with updated firmware on it. I had no issue after that and the same 64GB card also works in my Note 3. P.S. IIRC the S4 only ate the 64GB microSD's...
