It's free until June 15th or 16th using the included hotspot app. After that you will get charged, unless they extend it again. But you can always get Wireless Tether app.

Just connected my OG Droid to it and it works fine! :D

If you mean Wireless Tether from the market, I installed it by putting the phone in airplane mode and turning on wifi. It then shows up in the marketplace and you can download it. I haven't tried using it yet though.

You cannot use MR2 with the stock ROM. Although the RUU that MR2 came with is Froyo (and hasn't been released), the stock version of Froyo will not work with it. You can use any Gingerbread ROMs with MR2, or you can wait for the full RUU Froyo leak to come out and flash that.

I rename them and put them in a seperate folder via root explorer. That way if I ever need to flash back to a different radio or update I have it on my phone instead of having to look for it again.

Skype does not work with Gingerbread ROM's.

The preview has expired. The download link has been disabled. Keep an eye on this thread and the XDA developers thread for DasBamf2.0-5. Adrynalyne has put up previews for the new Bamf3.0 the last couple of days and then taken them down as it is not quite 100%. Preview 2 is my daily driver now...

Glad to hear it worked. I have the trial version 2 with full Sense 3.0 and carousel, it may still be up on the XDA page. It is sweet. ;)

Clear data, clear cache and Dalvik cache several times and reflash ROM and I bet you will be good to go.

Did you flash the GB radio in HBOOT? If you have no phone, no data and no gps, the radio wasn't installed correctly. I have none of the issues you describe. Something was not installed right.
