This looks really slick, I noticed a big of lag between the phone and computer but Im guessing that would depend at least somewhat on your current connection. I will definitely try this one out.

I'm thinking of setting my droid back to factory default, but wondering if I'll manually need to reinstall 2.1 or not? No big deal either way other than Im gonna do it here at work and I don't like using my work laptop for personal use if I don't have too. Thanks!!

That's something I have not tried yet; I keep my auto sync off to save battery but Im wondering if I turn it on if that might help the situation. It's worth a shot.

That would actually be a real good option, to auto hide the notification bar, good call! So far so good for me on this launcher though, I love the quickness and crisp animations between screens.

You guys are no help at all...LOL!! j/k. :) It's just really frustrating, I read on forums and even AC here did a review about it a week ago or so offering some advice that I mentioned as having tried already but nothing seems to consistently work and it's bugging the hell out of me.

Update, I redownloaded the same version, installed it, and don't see any option to increase the display size of the buttons, icons, etc. All other apps I have installed all display normally.

Helix works great for me, I rarely get an FC and it generally seems to work really well. I never used Helix2 because of so many saying it's slower. I think I'll try out this new launcher beta though but I hate having to re set up my screen with my apps and all since I have them set up just fine...

I found one thing that seems to work when the market hangs up. I use a task killer, and I end the market task, then go back in and that seems to work for me. The clearing cache, updates for the market didn't work for me.

I seem to find myself doing it once or twice a week; if it starts to get alittle slow, or apps don't want to shut down properly, or just generally not working the way I like it I'll do a powercycle of the phone and it will be back to normal.

This is getting really old, it sometimes works and sometimes does not. As I type this now it's not working at all. Launched google talk, cleared cache again, power cycled phone, still just hangs up when I try to enter the market..WTF! :(
