I have not received the patch - Moto X 2nd gen 2014. Called t-mobile support yesterday. They knew absolutely nothing and could not find ANY information on Stagefright. Between this virus and android's issued with bluetooth, I've decided to go back to iOS.

I have a Moto X 2nd Gen and having similar issues connecting with bluetooth and my car - only for phone calls, streaming music works fine. I have deleted the pairing connection and repaired several times and still have this issue.

Been on iOS for a year. Forgot how challenging Android could be for non engineer types. Got Smart Lock and Trusted Locations working. So for anyone else who runs into this ... Short story - I had a KitKat version of Google Play Services installed. I "Disabled" the KitKat version ... which...

I did have the wrong GP Svcs installed. The Lollipop one was not in Play Store so I side loaded it. I now have Smart Lock Option and within that I have "Trusted Devices" and "Trusted Face" .... I briefly had "Trusted Locations" ... but for some reason that is now gone. I probably changed some...

Same here .... go to Settings > Security > ... no Smart Lock I get similar Security screen as Ripper and blank page under Trust Agents. Was a fix ever found for this?

I just returned to Android (Moto X 2014) after a year of using and iPhone 5s. In daylight, the camera is good (not great). In low light, I would rate the camera as poor. Image quality, ease of use and usability of software inferior to Apple. "Messenger" (side loaded Lolli app) is light years...

what the heck - does no one QA software anymore? I just went through something similar with iOS 8.

Yep, Motorola Connect is really flaky. when it works, it is awesome. and when you get the "Unable to send Messages" notice, it's extremely frustrating.

Re: Turbo Charger I found for a "Full" charge the difference is not significant. But does charge to 50% very quickly. If you are already going to purchase a second charger, its worth the extra $ I think.

I've had the Moto X 2014 for about a week now. I also noticed very bad battery life. For me the issue was linked to Location settings - especially Google Now. after adjusting, I am getting acceptable (not great) battery life.

I know several Nexus 5 owners that got the update yesterday. Gone from impatient to now - angry. Wish they would just communicate status and process. This is pretty ridiculous. Switched from iOS to Android KitKat 7 days ago. Really don't want to tweak my phone and learn a lot of KitKat stuff...

Just switched from an iPhone 5s to the Moto X 2014 and getting very poor battery life. I researched and tried adjusting settings to improve battery life - has no noticeable effect. Any recommendations?
