So has anyone noticed any sort of difference between pokemon that are regular sized as opposed to xl/xs physical attribute ones? I read somewhere that it has an effect on hp and attack power...but I'm dubious.

So I've noticed that after attaining a good amount of a specific type of pokemon, some of them have a slight blue glowing backround...I've compared them and don't really seem to notice anything TOO different, aside from the obvious like different physical attributes and some differing...

From what I've gathered it might not necessarily mean the pokemon is more powerful, just that it's more difficult to capture. I know I didn't start seeing the yellow rings until the cp were up in the low hundreds, meaning in a sense ya the pokemon is more powerful than a lower cp level version...
