Yes, i was wondering if phones have a protective mechanism, i mean atleast the new models should have one right?

Some of those files are cashe memory dumps for browsers, apps, ect. Deleting most of the wouldn't prove to have any effect on your phone, but it could reset the memory of some apps, make you lose some information.
