I've published Friend Me 1.3.1 to the Android Market which has an in-app purchase option to remove the ad. I've also moved the ad to the news detail fragment and made it a leaderboard style ad. The in-app upgrade is only $0.99 for a limited time.

Yesterday Google emailed me to say the app had been restored on the Market. However, when I went to update Friend Me to version 1.2, I noticed that the United States wasn't available for distribution but every other country was. That created a lot of confusion for users trying to update...

Here's a new version of the beta which should fix the duplicate account bug for user's that don't have the official Facebook app installed: http://www.locomolabs.com/beta/friendme-1.2-beta2/FriendMe.apk. Please uninstall the previous beta and install this one to test it.
