I got my phone back from Samsung repair center. Looks like they DID replace the "board" and now....everything works IMPECCABLY! Wow...the bluetooth just connects...and no interference problem. Hope this lasts...

I actually did the same thing and it did improve the bluetooth signal dramatically. Now, it's about 7 feet before the signal breaks down. A dramatic improvement over 1 or 2 feet. Not sure what's going on but Samsung needs to get their firmware straightened out. Consumers do not have to go...

OK...a possibly good update: I uninstalled my ant+ app. I have a Garmin heart rate monitor and it seems to have dramatically improved the bluetooth connection. It's still a problem since the distance is about 5 feet before it garbles the signal.
