    Is it possible to display 1080p youtube videos on the android app?

    I have a phone with a 1080p display, so it bothers me that I can't take advantage of this while watching YouTube. Is it possible to get around this somehow, or has Google been in talks of updating the YouTube app to support 1080p video on certain devices?
