Hello, maybe you should try Recordable? It's probably not as fast as Screencast at the moment, but is designed for compatibility rather then performance. There are free (http://recordable.mobi/free) and paid versions (http://recordable.mobi/app) and it's actively supported.

Try Recordable (http://recordable.mobi/app). Unlike many screen recorders it doesn't use the frame buffer directly, which means it's more compatible with different types of phones and doesn't need special settings.
