None of these solutions helped me or my wife, probably because we sent setting the little grey circle, but we're still getting the shortcut pop-up (OPs second screenshot) from tapping bottom left (or right) corner, or swiping from the center (even while running apps). Suggestions?

My wife and I have the same issue, and she has an LG V20 (I have an s7). I saw another thread on this forum that discussed this issue, but none of the solutions worked (I think everyone was posting solutions for a different, but similar issue, even though there was a screen shot of the circle...
