    Apologies, should add '_NOAAC'. As an example, here are my headphones: Avantree TWS120_NOAAC

    APTX not working

    I had similar issue with headphones. I changed the name of the head phones by adding 'NO_AAC' at the end of the headphones and it made it use APTX.
