Where in Settings is the on/off slider to turn off Google Now?

My phone is stock unrooted with EL29. I haven't installed any of the previous ICS updates. Can I install Fl27 without installing the previous ICS updates? Is there anything special I have to do to install it whenever I get it OTA?

I just got the update this morning. Not sure whether to install it after all the negative reports it's gotten.

How do you uninstall Chrome? My wife installed the OTA - ICS update yesterday, but nowhere can I find Chrome to uninstall it. It is not under Settings, Applications, or anywhere else I've looked. When logged on the Internet there is nothing to identify the browser as Chrome. Help!

Do you have a widget with a brightness component that might be conflicting with the auto brightness setting in Display? My wife's phone has a widget which contains buttons controlling GPS, 4G, Bluetooth, and Brightness, among other things. An "A" on the Brightness button indicates that auto...

So it appears that no one has received the OTA ICS update in the past several days. Wonder if and when Sprint will continue it. Any clues?

Have you received the OTA (not manual) ICS update recently? If so, when and how were you notified? Lots of posts are indicating the OTA has stopped, so let us know if you have evidence to dispute this. Thanks.

I am not certain, but I think the bars are for voice only, not data. Also, there are separate settings for Data and Voice roaming under Settings, Wireless and network, Roaming, Roaming settings. Under Roaming settings, Domestic, I have checked both Voice and Data, but not under International.

I've had the opposite experience. After the update, my GPS works great so long as I turn on "Use sensor aiding" under "Location and security" in "Settings" after turning on GPS.

Nevermind. I checked "Background Data" in "Accounts and sync" and the update started immediately. The phone is working great now.

I still have NOT received my update. Isn't today the last day of the update roll out? Anyone else left out?

Re: Did you notice non-visual improvements after the latest updat I haven't updated and my E4GT allows me to scroll from page 1 to last page of applications and vice versa without having to scroll through all the pages in between.
