    I no longer have the Note on AT&T but I have one on Verizon and it does the same thing. Some days are worse than others.

    Sorry, just saw this. My AT&T last about 14-15 hours due to lack of signal where I work. Verizon phone lasts about 36 hours or more. Adds a little weight and good protection.

    AutomateIt is an app that triggers apps to work at certain times. Might want to give that a try. Might be able to trigger the lock screen to work with your home wifi with it.

    Active Apps Manager. Long pressing the home button then closing the apps actually works better than the Active Apps Manager a lot of times. But for the AAM, long press on empty part of screen then select widgets. Should be right there.

    If it's a text message, the stock app does not show you've read it. Any other app, you should be able to turn that off in the settings of the app. Should be able to turn off "send read" report in settings.
