I hear ya! My first black one had monster gaps top n bottom; this one is totally gap free, and you're right, I can't see the sub pixels with my naked eye so it's damn good ... I bet with the magnifier they all have at least a couple "invisible" ones. My iPhone 5 and both my kids iPods do, same...

Sorry guys, but here is the kicker: try looking on a black background, full brightness, then use a magnifying glass (or jewelers loop as I did) ... found 4 or 5 stuck BUT cannot see with your naked eye. I used this trick back when I thought I had a dead pixel on my iPhone, all to discover it...
