according to sprint who talked to motorola last evening, and i am on the 3rd photon, there is an issue with the 3g. they said, motorola, that they got the 4g right and did not spend enough time on the 3g part. accordingly they said an update is coming but so are our 30 days! guess we will see...

Looks like the video part of youtube and sprint tv will not play on 3g. sprint tv will only use 3g and always get error 80000042. you tube on the other hand works well on wifi but not on 3g, battery get to about 106 deg and nothing. sure hope they can fix! tried uninstall factory reset...

mostly when using 3g and we are supposed to be in an excellent coverage area. trying to use youtube really heats up. wifi is fine no change. go figure!

Anyone else notice that the back of the photon gets kinda warm? checked temp on mine during one of its spells and was 105.8. These batteries take that kinda heat? just asking!

not to sound to silly but does anyone know how to shut off maps in applications? you hit force stop and within secs its back and running! thanks in advance, by the way love the phone so far!

Ok thanks alot for looking. Mine reads 8.91 and 8.90. It just seems it would show totals correctly, wouldnt you?

What o am looking for is someone who has it to check theirs and look at total and available on internal storage. Thanks

Ok but for a total sbouldnt it read 16. And avaiable whatever is left?

Would anyone who has the photon please check your total internal memory. Mine only shows 8.91gb and should show 16gb per mfg! Have reset and still does not show advertised 16gb.
