A complete factory reset is too much to do and you will lose all of your info. simply go to settings, apps, default apps and tap clear by the home wiz button. I'm glad I came and read comments here before doing a factory reset.

But why was it there and what is it for? Did I need it?

I just follow the suggestion of going to settings, then selecting applications, and default apps, seeing the stupid touch wiz and pushed the 'clear' button that was right next to it. My BIG question is .... what istouch wiz and what is it used for? Now that I have 'cleared' touch wiz, home blah...
