I called Verizon and unfortunately they were closing in 15 minutes...i'll update more when i get it sorted out tomorrow...they say it is a network issue and not hardware...we'll see

I had no problems with my thunderbolt for the first 2 weeks and now i cannot send any texts. Only one goes through occasionally no matter what carrier im sending to (verizon, att, etc.) I have taken my battery out, rebooted, taken my sim card out, nothing is fixing this and its unacceptable to...

is there any way to backup your setup before you root and not have to start over from scratch?

oo man i would love this. I've been putting up with my horrible LG ENV TOUCH for 2 years now that can't even function as a normal phone its so cheap. Waiting for the release date of this would be soo worth it if it was a free prize
