I have the same issue, and this is my 2nd galaxy. The S7 & S8 plus have issues with screen not locking. Also, the charging input gets dirty easily causing a defect. I had to buy a wireless charger. Samsung is aware of the S7. but they are brushing the complaints on S8 to the side. Reason maybe...
