G+ keeps erroring out when used on Note 4 w/ lollipop

No we had just purchased the phone. Got it from the store, took it home and updated to lollipop. I dunno though, it's my wife's phone, so maybe she put a bunch of apps on it when right after, but I'm pretty sure it didn't work from the get-go.

G+ keeps erroring out when used on Note 4 w/ lollipop

G+ has crashed since lollipop was installed and at that point, there were no 3rd party apps installed. Thanks for that link though, because I didn't know about safe mode.

    G+ not working on Lollipop

Is anyone else having this issue? We got my wife a Note 4 over the weekend. Didn't log into any google things besides the absolute minimum, then waited the 5 hours as AT&T glacially downloaded the Lollipop update onto the phone over my network. There are... so many problems with Lollipop, but...

Trying to think of one good reason to keep the S5...

Not sure what NE 9 is, but I can tell you that without going through a lot of complicated software gyrations (using ODIN to revert to a kernal that was never on this machine, for instance, and very possibly bricking the phone) there is no way to do this.

Trying to think of one good reason to keep the S5...

I looked for months to find a way. The only way I found was very complicated and required reverting to a version of the OS that I don't think was ever on this phone. I found that over in XDA. Is this something that has recently come out? If you're talking about this...

    Itunes to Andriod

If it took all that time, there might have been other problems with the transfer. You might want to give Media Monkey a try to transfer all your music and play lists. I've heard good things about it. Don't bother with Double Twist, it doesn't work very well.

Trying to think of one good reason to keep the S5...

You folks are with Verizon. And I'll repeat this again: There is no way to root an AT&T S5. My kernel is post July. Most of the "See it works!" comments are about a rooted phone, and mine isn't, and won't be because the guys who write the rooting software, aren't interested in writing it for...

Not to update to KitKat ?

And you won't if you use those SD cards as read-only devices or use the stock Samsung programs to manage the data. Try using any 3rd party programs to write to the SD cards, and you'll see that, with very few exceptions, you can't.

Trying to think of one good reason to keep the S5...

It's just the way an AT&T S5 with Kitcrap fits (or doesn't) with my needs. And yes, AT&T will graciously let me return it -- for $300 plus tax. Then I get to buy another phone. Which I'll get to pay full price for. yay.

Not to update to KitKat ?

Do NOT update the device. You will lose useful access to your SD card (among other things). Worse, the device will probably start to over heat, and it will certainly run much slower. Also, to ensure that your service provider doesn't helpfully update it FOR you, root the thing. I didn't and...

Trying to think of one good reason to keep the S5...

... but other than the fact that AT&T will screw me out of yet more money, I'm having a hard time doing so. I have an S5 with Kitcrap from AT&T (comments of, "Well, it's your own fault for going with AT&T" are not useful, so don't bother). I went to the S5 from an iPhone 5 because I had a...

KitKat: Is there NOTHING that this "OS" Didn't screw up???

The more I use Kitkat, the more I wish I'd stuck with Apple. The list of things this "OS" (and yes, I'm using the quotes on purpose) screwed up is legion, and I've written about them elsewhere. Today I discovered something new. On my Samsung Tablet (Note 8 -- which used to work until AT&T f'd...
