    Note 4 problem - Screen won't rotate

Ok. This worked. I didn't even watch the video. My problem started when I dropped the phone yesterday. Nothing broke. But I soon learned that rotate stopped working. If I was in the browser or in an app rotate would not change from landscape to portrait mode. When I was in Camera, I...

No Kies or way to transfer contacts/calendar from Outlook?

CompanionLink still handles direct sync from Outlook 2010 standalone to Galaxy S6. Works great with S6. If you use their DejaOffice you'll get your Outlook Categories with colors, Tasks, Notes, and Journal if you want those. A lot of people use USB sync and Wi-Fi sync. For one, it avoids...

So what actually WORKS to sync the Oulook calender on my PC with my Android

Because Google is a Linux shop and hires ex-Apple employees (Map Google and Apple headquarters to figure that out). When they created Android they copied Apple. They do a good job. Just not PC like. Check out DejaOffice as an Outlook-like platform for Android (and iPhone, iPad, Windows Phone...

    GT-I9300 - Kies 3 - Sync Option Not Available

I'm curious what 3rd party fixes you tried? Were they all free ones, or did you try any paid options. My experience is that free software is not worth the time, and it is best to have some company that will be around a while, and also pick up the phone if you need them.

    Syncing with Outlook

Najester, I can't answer specifically for Fonepad, but in general the native Android Contacts records are fixed length. In order to see the full data you need a Contact replacement or addition product. One that is popular is DejaOffice. It will sync from your PC, and show the full contact...

Yet Another Outlook --> Google Sync Question

Syncing Note 2 with Outlook 2013?

I wouldn't count on vaporware (Akruto) for performance or price. People tend to change pricing when they finish, and find the programmer's need to get paid. Look for something on the market. If you data is valuable, it may be worthwhile to pay a small amount for a solution that works...

    gSyncit vs Companion Link

Can you check to see if you also have Google Calendar Sync installed? Having two sync tools installed at the same time will cause the symptom where the data gets doubled.

    gSyncit vs Companion Link

CompanionLink has a free 14 day demo so you can check it out yourself. CompanionLink has four different ways to synchronize to Android. The USB Sync is similar to how old BlackBerry's would work, but there is also a Wi-Fi sync that works well. CompanionLink supports synchronizing Outlook to...
