Textra definistly does this because I've mistaken the mic button with the mic button for voice actions on my Google keyboard. I really don't see the appeal in this though.

I'm starting to shop for an aftermarket car stereo to replace the factory unit in my Elantra. I'd like to know if anybody has any advice on which to go with. I'd like to stay under $200. It has to be able to show the music playing on the display and be able to connect to my steering wheel...

I want to know the answer to this as well. I'm hoping that with Lollipop we'll be able to stream music in the car via USB because Bluetooth sucks.

Re: Root Modifications I'll throw in one that I absolutely love and that's using Xposed Additions. With it, I can make my buttons do what I want. For instance, if I long press the volume down button with the screen off, it starts a task inside of Tasker, which is set to open my garage door...

I wish Google would take the few small steps needed to streamline Android such as remove duplicate programs. Why have messaging and hangouts? Why do I have a photo app, gallery app, and also have backup options within Google plus? Also, I hate that I can't steam my music through the USB port...

I've tried Swiftkey several times. Every time I switch to it, I'm amazed at how awesome it is, especially the word preditions. But after a while it get's laggy and I remember why I can't use it. I really wish they'd get the lag out. And BTW, this is on a HTC One M7 that has zero lag if using...

Well, it's back. A reboot will fix it, but I don't want to do that every time.

It may have been the Coupons App that was updated. It was running location services for some reason. I've never had an issue with it, but after I uninstalled it and also rebooted, things turned back to normal. Thanks for the input guys.

By battery is getting killed by Google Play Services this morning. Typically, my battery goes from 100% to around 85% throughout the 10 hours or so I'm at work. This morning, it went from 100% to 83% now in less than 3 hours. Google Play Services has consumed 87% of the usage. Particularly...

I've got the M7 but have Sense 6. I never really cared for the stock lockscreen, so I installed Widgetlocker along with Nils notifications. Nils can go on top of any lockscreen so I think you could turn off your notifications in the lockscreen settings and just control them through this app...

Is it just me or does anybody else have a difficult time reading the font in the Play Store on desktop? The reviews are particularly difficult to read. It's like the font is too faint.

I have MightyText installed on my computer, tablet, and phone. This allows me to text through my work computer without having to grab my phone, or text through my tablet at the house when my phone is in another room. You can also see when calls are coming in and who's calling. I highly recommend!
