So strange.... I've tried everything. Rebooting, reinstalling gosms, tried with the default disabled, all popup /notification options in gosms, etc. etc. Nothing causes it to pop up with a preview. For the record, I'm talking about the preview pop up. But now, I can't get the default text app...

Just gonna bump this in case anyone ever figured out how to do it. I still can't get pop up preview on the lock screen, only notification at the notification bar.

Chrome all the way. Tip that many of you probably didn't know about: Swipe down from the address bar. BOOM, mind blown. Tip #2: when seeing the tabs, tilt your phone forward and backwards. BOOM mind blown again

Right now, 2 pages and you see 95% of the threads posted in a single day. If we split it into T-Mobile / AT&T / Verizon / Internationals, we're talking about half a page PER DAY of posts. Are you really missing "important things" just because there's 2 pages per day? :3

I disagree, not enough traffic on this subforum to lead to a further fragmentation. Then you'll have doubles/triples of common posts, each with 1/2 or 1/3 or less of the replies.

If you're impressed with the keyboard, you should try the Swiftkey app. After using it for 24 hours I found myself nerd-giggling alone after it predicted entire sentences for me... Kind of nuts. And that's coming from iOS, which has a rather nice keyboard too.

I don't know how some of you are using black and white themes : ( The note 3's screen is the most beautiful I've ever seen on any device. Feels so crippling to go with black n white....

I'm kind of an android noob, but I know there's "proximity" features on the note 3. Maybe it's thinking the phone is near your face? I wish I could provide more info. I think i disabled these proximity features, so it's not giving me issues.

I'm pretty sure virtually all note 3's have this issue. The users reporting theirs is fine is due to subjectivity and cognitive dissonance. Many people, including myself, didn't even notice the home button's issues until it was brought up. Even then, I had to really look closely and move it...

First, I'll say Swiftkey is amazing. Coming from iOS, then using the stock keyboard for a few days, Swiftkey is on a whole other level. The one thing you lose from the stock if you go with Swiftkey is a 4th row for numbers. Apparently that's an upcoming feature for Swift, so it's no big deal...

lol good luck with waiting for that, OP. If you think a trademark application and foreign certification equates to a release within the foreseeable future, you're in for a rude awakening. We'll probably be on a note 4 by the time this is even realistically feasible.

Mmmm GO SMS pro kind of does that. you just tap the message in the notification drawer and it leads to the message, ready to reply. Now if only I could get this darn lock screen notification to work : (

Thx! Now I've made a slight bit of progress. I still cannot get it to pop up in the lock screen, but as soon as I unlock, i now get the popup. I guess I'm slowly getting somewhere. Grrrr

Yup :( I get the popups with the icons... when the phone is unlocked and im sitting in the dock screen. Nothin' except the little tiny go sms icon when in the lock screen.
