You have to go inside the call settings then set your ringtone from there same with messenging app. Selecting it from sounds and notifications wont make it work alone. I had same problem but once I went inside the app and selected the ringtone it works now.

Quick question about the guide. Do we need to enable usb debugging before we start this procedure? I noticed some guides suggest to enable debugging but there is no mention of this using this method. I just want to be sure before i start. Looking forward to learning more by doing it manually...

A couple of things no one mentioned are: Atrix 4g- Front facing camera and HSDPA 850 / 1900 / 2100 Inspire 4g- No front facing camera and only HSDPA 850 / 1900 I'm really surprised HTC did not include 2100 for overseas use. While the Atrix has 2100...how long before the unlock comes? I feel...
