I went with the S7 Active myself. I miss the bigger screen for sure, but wanted the bigger battery and durability.

Same thing is happening to me as well using the Verizon Messaging app. When emoji's are used it sends twice, one will have question marks and the next will actually show the emoji.

Naked unless I'm going to a concert or going to be out drinking etc and prone to dropping it. I have a Spigen Neo Hybrid case for those times and a dbrand black leather skin on the way to hopefully make less slippery to hold naked.
