    The low price of the unlocked N4 and the ability to go contract-free and give the middle-finger salute to Verizon was enough for me to switch. Overall the S3 may be the better device, but its not worth the cost, IMO. The N4 is the first premium device at the price point and I'm loving my $40...

    FWIW, I just ported my Verizon number (that I have had since 2002) to Google Voice without any problem at all and everything is working fine. I just followed GV's instructions. I do have a full GV account though.....

    Both, really. Obviously the noise is louder when shaken vigorously, but even subtle movements cause a very audible rattle. However, changing from portrait to landscape doesn't really do it.....it is more when the phone moves front-to-back rather than side-to-side. For example, one situation...

    My rattle does not go away when I did this exactly as you describe. FWIW, mine has the rattle and buzz....and I was wondering the exact same thing.
