No, you can not use *ANY* a2sd type apps, TDM built in an app2ext that takes care of that need, and it will conflict with any a2sd app you download. It is mentioned in the OP.

Every time I flash a nightly I lose an app or two. BeWeather Pro in particular disappears. When I try to restore it from TiBu, it tells me it will overwrite an existing app, and then fails to install it. I use the Prep to Upgrade prior to flashing. Any suggestions? Thanks [edit] Flashing gapps...

Thanks Torch. My error, thought I could get away with using Prep for Update rather than Prep for New ROM. After I did that, I went back and did the Prep for New ROM, flashed G3, flashed gapps, still had no root, play store not working. For now, I am back with Q, but I will keep a watch on this...
