    I'm hoping that battery technology progresses to the point where taking the battery out is a thing of the past. Also I don't understand why they can't add micro SD to the sides of the phone in flagship devices?

    So Apple is patenting things for the interior of its retail stores that aren't everywhere in the US. Google is patenting futuristic payment technology through mobile devices. Cook is really ruining Apple. I wonder what Jobs would have been like in 2013?

    I consider the original iPhone to be the start of "modern" smartphones because it's really what brought them from enterprise and business users to everyday consumers. You can't deny that Apple really pioneered bringing the mobile web and the full web together with much more fluent applications...

    haha some of us that are in our late twenties grew up seeing our parents use the starTAC and not being able to use it (you'll break the damn thing!) I remember being in twelfth grade in 2003 and laughing because a girl was sending something called text messages from her phone

    I used an LG Rumor before I got an HTC Hero with an upgrade. The rumor was sick at the time because it was a side sliding keyboard. I remember when I got the hero I hated the lack of a QWERTY keyboard (I wasn't used to capacitive touch screens at the time and I text a LOT).

    AWESOME! My Galaxy S4 looks like an updated Droid 2! I really liked the look of that phone (it just feels natural to me). Now if only I could change the lock screen I'd be in heaven lol

    Performance issues aside I liked the look of the launcher on my Droid 2 (my last Android phone). Is there anyway to kind of get the aesthetics of that back with widgets?

    What's your opinion on 10 inch tablets?

    I may be absolutely crucified by some people on here but I love my iPad. It's the one thing I think Apple does great on because a tablet in my opinion suits that os a lot better than a phone.

    Swapped my Motorola Droid 2 for an iPhone 4s back in February 2012 and now I'm back with a Samsung Galaxy S4 and Android is better than ever.
