I normally don't bother to buy a case, but the smooth back is a concern for me so I am planning on clothing my S7.

I upgraded my S7 to Nougat within hours of purchasing it and have no regrets so far. I'm not sure if it is the hardware or the OS, but the battery life is way better than I ever got on my S5.

Yes, very much so. Here's the main problem I see with bluetooth headphones. Having the bluetooth on causes the phone's battery to drain much faster than wired audio. When your USB port on the phone is the only port, then you cannot charge the draining battery and listen to music at the same...

I don't think this would work. That would only eliminate notifications from the Google Play Music app itself, so if you get a message from another app that will still come through.

This did the trick for me. I also want to keep my ringer turned up because I listen to podcasts at work and if my boss calls I want to hear that come through, but I don't need my audio interrupted every time a get a Hangouts or text message.

FYI, I finally got Google Play Services to update after clearing the data and cache from the Google Play Store app and rebooting.
