    How to stop apps from running?

    How do you stop apps from running in the background? I use a battery saver app that kills apps.Then without even using the phone they back on draining the battery. Youtube, Firefox, Googlemaps, Google Books and Newsstand are the main ones.

    Can't load secure website while using usb tether hotspot with PC running Vista. Example on bank website, main page loads fine, log in page will not. Crome or FF makes no difference. Using wifi hotspot with tablet works fine. Any help would be appreciated.
