Same exact problem as others described. I ordered a replacement battery on Amazon for less than $20, which included tools required. It took about an hour of very tedious work to take it apart, replace the battery, and put everything back together. But it now works fine. No shutting down...

I've read your solution on half a dozen threads. Does not work.
