I had the battery cover off (in order to give me more time supposedly) and it did not help. It still boot looped before I could even open the phone tray. I did not try to remove the SIM card, though, so maybe that could have spared me a factory reset. So far I've had no issues with it returning...

I saw the "Swype and the Rezound - if you use it, please take a look" thread and it didn't answer my question - only that the app itself was not working properly. I just got my Rezound and upgraded from the Droid X where Swype was already installed on it. Now, I am SORELY missing it and SlideIT...

It's the best price right now for the HTC manufactured extended battery. It'll go back up to $60 after the holidays at which point you will be able to buy an aftermarket one for around $30 + S/H. My bet would be to get the HTC approved extended battery now while it's cheap.

I was not able to get into the phone screen to dial that code before it rebooted again. Frustrating as all hell. I had to do a factory reset. :(

Just posting this up to inform people that my Rezound is doing the same thing :eek: I don't understand clearly why but I am going to try your fix about shifting into CDMA +LTE mode. Let's just hope I can get in and get out in enough time before it boot loops :confused:
