Well, I don't know what did it because I have turned on and off so many settings and rebooted and reinstalled so many times this afternoon (I also plugged it in to charge and who knows) but it finally worked. Phew.

I am having an issue that I can't find an answer for anywhere. Samsung's chat and phone help couldn't help me. They advised me to "just keep trying." Well, they first suggested a factory reset but I am loathe to do that as I can't bear the thought of having to reset everything I had previously...
