Did you try choosing (when you connect your phone) - Connect as "Media device" or "Camera"? It might help (one of them should work - I had a similar problem on my old tablet)!

I like the trend of getting rid of the buttons - saving more space for the screen. Though, I'm not sure about the "Edge" and rounded corners. I feel that rounded corners are quite useless, but, they might save the phone if you drop it (anyone tested yet? :D )

Did you sign in Google on your wife's phone before? I had the same problem with Pinterest account (even I signed in, but I received notifications from the another account), I think it might be some cached data that kept updating even when the accounts were changed.

Yes, sadly you will have to set it up again (I use Anycast which is almost the same). Same if you will unplug and plug it back in the same TV :-!

I use A5 now, and I would say this phone is a good choice! (I didn't have a chance to try LG). Fast and does the job, though battery lasts not as long as I would want it :D

I would recommend getting a rubber case (a tight one). Those cases that have flip covers don't actually help much. For the games, I recommend Battle Bay. Totally fun! And if you like reading FBReader is a great choice!

I envy people who can get these nice phones for such a price:-X
