We are in the exact same boat... Except we are in OH. We get a discount through employer which makes AT&T hard to beat, price wise. I'd love to be able to switch but at this time, it isn't financially worth it.

Forgive me if this is not helpful, but I have had issues using NFC with my case on (SUPCASE slim hybrid) the phone. Even transferring from my 6P to my LG G2, the G2 case doesn't interfere but I have to remove the SUPCASE from the 6P. If you have a case, have you tried without it? It doesn't seem...

I've been using Nova Prime but only because the icons are SO big with stock. I also prefer not to have labels on the home screens. I am sure I'm vastly under utilizing Prime but it's the main thing I wanted to change.

Nope, never had one on there. Maybe it was an issue with my big fingers and being so excited for a new phone? I just know that it kept not spacing or double-spacing and adding the period and a capital letter and I had to keep backspacing and fixing all of my texts. Now on the 6P my only issue...

Hah... I just meant that it was acting strange. You'd think the entire keyboard would have issues but it seems to just be the space-bar on the G2 that was having trouble. I removed some apps and rebooted and it seemed better.
