Does doing this have any effect on later software updates?

I was wandering if "Quiet ring on pickup" option had stopped working on the shift for anyone else? I'm not sure if mine had stopped prior to the Gingerbread update or not.

This phone does not come with a "My Files" folder. As was mentioned above, you can download one of the file managers from the market to manage the files on the phone & sd card.

I don't get that on my Shift.

Mine is the number of un-read emails.

Well, I finally got it to download and to my surprise, it says that it can't install on this phone. WTF? Maybe it only works with 2.1. Nice going Sprint.

I keep getting "waiting for data connection" while trying to download.

Which is better for the battery; run down completely before recharging or to recharge at 40%,30%,15%, etc. to keep at 100% asd much as possible??

I successfully mounted my moment on my Vista desktop at home & also on my XP workstation at work.

No! Still nothing there.

I'm pretty certain that you can't change the path on these phones.

kjwhite622, were you able to find a "BarCode" option in the contacts' menu on your Moment?

I had this same problem when I first got my Moment. Think it had to do with me not knowing what I was doing. Playing around with both the phone & Google at the same time. I had to clear out all my calendar info on both the phone and at Google and reenter it in one location. That worked for me...
