I think you are absolutely correct, and I can't believe I never thought about this. The US unlocked one has to work on all four carriers (which was always a selling point for me), but it hadn't even crossed my mind that all four carriers would have to "certify" the updates. No wonder these...

I had that sinking feeling when I saw a lot of people getting their tracking information that it might have been the people who ordered just the phone and not the camera. I'm pretty sure when we ordered the camera, we all assumed that would come at a later date and did not anticipate it...

10:39PM Pacific time...hilarious that on Facebook and Twitter they say "preorders will ship today, watch out for a shipping email." I've been watching. I've seen nothing. Dang. I had high hopes for this and to be honest, the delay in shipping doesn't really bother me all that much. But, it does...

I've read four of five reviews and this isn't accurate. Camera reviews have been "okay" to "good," and battery life has been praised in each review. The other features missing, sure, but those were known quantities going into this. Edit: quite sad to not get any kind of shipping email today...

No that I'm complaining, but my Verizon order shipped yesterday and I got the notification at midnight. But it's 2nd day air, for delivery tomorrow by 8pm. How did you folks get next day by 10:30am? I specifically asked if I could pay more for next day air and they said "no, not on preorders."...

Verizon is giving the Daydream free as well, just FYI for anyone who ordered it from Verizon. After activating your phone, you can claim it on their site.

I'm not disagreeing with you, but I remember buying the S6 on T-Mobile and I got it WEEKS before any other carrier released it. I think it was some sort of screw up, which leads me to my next point: carriers screw this stuff up. On Verizon's website, the language has been anything but...
