Yeah, it does sound buggy.

I know ZenFone 2 owners can download 6.0 from ASUS, but has anyone received it OTA? Supposedly ASUS has been pushing it in batches for weeks, but I haven't received it, and it doesn't appear when I manually check. I also haven't heard of anyone who got it OTA.

Same here, but not because of the screen problems, which fortunately I haven't experienced. Instead, I'm done with Asus because of the delay in pushing out 6.x. I still haven't received the OTA update, and a lot of owners report that the downloadable version is buggy (e.g., malfunctioning...

Asus must roll out the update to sets of phones rather than to all at once. I just did a "Check Update" and was told I have the latest version. Looking forward to my turn.

Three weeks left in Q2. Any update on the update?

In the meantime, I wish they'd roll out Marshmallow. We don't even have 5.1. Ridiculous.

The ZF2 uses an Intel rather than Qualcomm chipset, so there's no benefit from using a Quick Charge charger, right? Or does Asus' BoostMaster technology support Quick Charge? Thanks.

When I inserted my Cricket SIM into my new ZF2, it automatically loaded all of the APN and other settings. The indicator usually is 4G but changes to H+ when making a call; that's normal.

I replaced mine in mid-December with a Zenfone 2. Two reasons: the battery life, which was lousy to begin with, had grown unacceptably short, and it often would freeze for no apparent reason. It's now used around the house for non-essential tasks such as controlling my Roku players.

I just received mine, which replaces a Nexus 4. I've had it only a few hours but really like it so far. For example, it charged really quickly, and it's not too big to hold or pocket.

That's the way I feel and why I haven't used it.
