I can't really say much to the battery difference. I too plug mine in every night. No complaints and no worse than most other smart phones I've heard others complain about whether it's waterproof or not but you just don't know whether people put their covers back onproperly or had the charging...

I had the original Gear and if I recall correctly, it would notify you of alarms from calendar and whatnot but there wasn't an alarm app on the Gear itself. Never really noticed as all I was concerned with was getting the notifications from my calendar

Just got the Gear 2 after having the original Gear and noticed that my beloved Evernote app is missing in action. I think there's a very big audience out there for it if you want to go for that. I'd be very happy too of course. :cool:

I'll give you that one. I don't like Apple and wouldn't want an iPhone but I'll agree that the iPad is king when it comes to tablets - in the same way I think the Note is king when it comes to phablets. That said, I have a Note 3 AND a Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1in tablet. I'm good.

Waiting on the next greatest thing is a fools game. You will NEVER have the next greatest thing because as soon as you buy it, the next one is already set for release. Get what you want NOW and worry about the Note 4 later. At any rate, it won't be coming out any time soon so why wait?

I'm not sure what I would think of that whole white notification thing. I like a little color in my notifications. If they're all white, how do you tell them apart with a quick glance?

This may come as a shock to you but it isn't ALWAYS about size. I will NEVER have an iPhone. Partly because of the size but just as much because of their incredibly boring interface. I totally understand that there are obviously a lot of people who don't have a problem with that but saying that...

So out of curiosity, how many of you iPhone fans are older (50+)? I started gravitating toward bigger phones the older I got. I still have to wear glasses to read as it is but the Note makes it a lot easier. The iPhone would require downright squinting. And you're right about one thing. Apple...

I don't have such issues with my Note 3. I am not one of those people who downloads tons of apps just because I can. I keep only what I need and use. Everything else goes. If an app causes me a problem and it isn't a necessity, that goes too. All of the ones I have run perfectly fine on my Note...
