Hi, sorry didn't see your reply, I want to use it to store and transfer files to the PC but want it to take some of the burden of the internal storage by storing photos etc

Ok yes the default camera app etc don't appear to be changeable this is why this option Settings/Stotage/Default write disk is so important.

I really hope someone can help I want to change the Default Write Disk to my external SD card like I did on 6.0 so photos and various other things are automatically saved to the SD card but on Oreo Settings/Storage this option is not there. So I'm moving them manually Please help!
